Joseph Hines is the owner of Acorn Construction, a residential construction firm in Madison, MS, specializing in crafting custom homes across Madison County and the wider Jackson metro area. Our experienced team also offers whole home remodels, kitchen and bathroom remodels, and home additions to our beloved communities in Madison, Mississippi and beyond.
With a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management from the University of Southern Mississippi, Joseph initially focused on estimating and overseeing commercial construction projects throughout the Jackson area. Over six years, he thrived on aiding business owners in constructing new facilities and renovating existing ones. In early 2012, driven by a passion for residential construction, he founded JMH Builders in Madison, Mississippi. Since its inception, Joseph’s mission has remained purposeful: to create high-quality, aesthetically pleasing, and functional homes. Drawing on his experience in custom homes and managing commercial projects, he applies rigorous planning, project management, and quality control methodologies to the residential building and remodeling process.
Now working with a brand-new vision, Acorn Construction, Joseph embraces the evolution of home construction, offering luxury, custom home builds, leveraging high quality materials, and the ability to incorporate sustainable, energy-efficient components. Acorn Construction takes Joseph Hines’s strong, experienced custom home roots and expands his vision to home remodeling, kitchen and bathroom renovations, and home additions. These innovations allow Madison homeowners the opportunity to design, build, and rebuild homes that reflect a forward-looking approach, surpassing those built just years ago.
